1. License Compatibility: This CloudLinux Admin edition is intended for supported Linux Cloud/VPS or Dedicated Servers. Hosting-account limits and available capabilities depend on the selected edition. Unsupported operating systems or use beyond the edition scope may fail and require a different plan.
2. Activation & Management: Use the dashboard activation command to register the server and install, convert, or activate CloudLinux. Verify the license with CloudLinux Network tools, https://cln.cloudlinux.com/console/check-license, or the LVE Manager in your supported control panel.
3. IP Change & Migration: If you experience any difficulty while changing the licensed IP, open a support ticket and include both the current (old) IP and the new IP. IP changes are usually instant, but in rare cases they may take 5 to 6 hours. Once the IP change is completed, the license will work only on the new server IP and will deactivate on the old server IP.
4. Security & Free Setup: We require only the Server IP for normal license generation; no administrator credentials are needed. If you choose the optional free setup service, open a support ticket and provide temporary root credentials. After setup, you can safely rotate the credentials with zero service interruption.
