Configuration

1. License Compatibility: This cPanel/WHM plan is intended for Bare Metal/Dedicated servers. Cloud/VPS and Bare Metal/Dedicated licenses are distinct editions, so make sure you select the correct plan. Attempting to activate this license on a Cloud/VPS environment will fail.

2. Activation & Management: Upon purchase, the activation commands will be provided in your dashboard. Run the supplied command to activate or replace the existing license. You can update cPanel using our provided command, /usr/local/cpanel/scripts/upcp, or licsys cpanel upcp. Verify the license status anytime at https://verify.cpanel.net/app/verify.

3. IP Change & Migration: If you experience any difficulty while changing the licensed IP, open a support ticket and include both the current (old) IP and the new IP. IP changes are usually instant, but in rare cases they may take 5 to 6 hours. Once the IP change is completed, the license will work only on the new server IP and will deactivate on the old server IP.

4. Security & Free Setup: We require only the Server IP for normal license generation; no administrator credentials are needed. If you choose the optional free setup service, open a support ticket and provide temporary root credentials. After setup, you can safely rotate the credentials with zero service interruption.
