Plesk VPS
1. License Compatibility: This Plesk Web Host Edition license is intended for a supported Linux VPS. VPS and Dedicated Server licenses are distinct editions. Installing the license on a Linux Dedicated Server, Windows server, or unsupported operating system will fail.
2. Activation & Management: Execute the activation command provided in your dashboard on the Linux VPS. Existing license data is replaced automatically. You can verify the active status under Plesk Tools & Settings > License Information and apply supported Plesk updates normally.
3. IP Change & Migration: If you experience any difficulty while changing the licensed IP, open a support ticket and include both the current (old) IP and the new IP. IP changes are usually instant, but in rare cases they may take 5 to 6 hours. Once the IP change is completed, the license will work only on the new server IP and will deactivate on the old server IP.
4. Security & Free Setup: We require only the Server IP for normal license generation; no administrator credentials are needed. If you choose the optional free setup service, open a support ticket and provide temporary root credentials. After setup, you can safely rotate the credentials with zero service interruption.
