Configuration

1. License Compatibility: The SolusVM Master provides the central management interface and may be installed on a supported VPS or Dedicated Server. It is used to manage connected Slave nodes; unsupported operating systems or an incorrectly configured Master environment will fail installation or activation.

2. Activation & Management: Apply the dashboard activation key or command to the SolusVM Master server. Add and authorize the required Slave nodes, then verify the Master license, node connectivity, and management status in the SolusVM administrator interface.

3. IP Change & Migration: If you experience any difficulty while changing the licensed IP, open a support ticket and include both the current (old) IP and the new IP. IP changes are usually instant, but in rare cases they may take 5 to 6 hours. Once the IP change is completed, the license will work only on the new server IP and will deactivate on the old server IP.

4. Security & Free Setup: We require only the Server IP for normal license generation; no administrator credentials are needed. If you choose the optional free setup service, open a support ticket and provide temporary root credentials. After setup, you can safely rotate the credentials with zero service interruption.
